1. Migrate Outlook Profile to Outlook Express

Using Outlook Express and Outlook, you can easily import Outlook profile to Outlook Express and convert PST to EML free. To do so, both email client should be configured or installed in your computer. Otherwise, free pst to eml conversion will not be possible. You will have to take help of any third party application to export PST file to EML format.

So, if the pst file is orphan or not configure in Outlook, first you configure it and then migrate Outlook to Outlook Express.

Steps to Open Outlook PST File:

• Now transferring of data from Outlook to Outlook Express will be start.
• After completion, a congratulation message will show on screen. Click Finish

After performing the above steps, all the data of PST file will be converted into EML. To create backup, make a new folder on any desired location and select all emails. After that, you can easily export PST to EML in batch by using simple drag and drop function.

Note: Outlook and Outlook Express both email client should be installed in your machine.

2. Import Outlook Profile into Mozilla Thunderbird

Using Mozilla Thunderbird email client, you can import PST to Thunderbird and easily export Outlook file to EML format. But, both email client should be installed in you machine otherwise the migration of Outlook to Thunderbird will not happen. Let’s see the steps:

• Open Mozilla Thunderbird >> Click Tools >> Click on Import.
• In this window two options will appear:
  • Import Everything: To import all data of Outlook to Thunderbird
  • Select the type of material to import: To import selective data of Outlook like address books, emails, etc.
• Select Import Everything and click Next.
• Select Outlook & hit Next.
• Migration process of Outlook to Thunderbird will begin.
• After completion, Outlook data will appear in Thunderbird. It means PST file has been converter into EML.
• To see converted Outlook file to EML format, select all emails using CTRL + A command. Click right and click on Save As.
• Now, all emails of PST file will be exported into EML format.
